La investigaci\u00f3n por la muerte de Thiago Altamirano contin\u00faa enfocada en determinar qui\u00e9n provoc\u00f3 la asfixia mec\u00e1nica que, seg\u00fan la autopsia, caus\u00f3 el fallecimiento del ni\u00f1o. Mientras permanecen detenidos su madre, Mar\u00eda del Milagro Cuellar (19), y su pareja, Franco Funes (32), la querella sostiene que a\u00fan debe establecerse la autor\u00eda material del crimen y si existieron responsabilidades por acci\u00f3n u omisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
El abogado querellante Pedro Arancibia afirm\u00f3 que la pesquisa debe determinar \u00abqui\u00e9n despleg\u00f3 la acci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica de la asfixia, con qu\u00e9 objetos y bajo qu\u00e9 modalidad\u00bb, adem\u00e1s de establecer si hubo participaci\u00f3n por acci\u00f3n o por omisi\u00f3n. En ese sentido, sostuvo que tambi\u00e9n es necesario investigar si exist\u00edan antecedentes de maltrato o intervenciones administrativas y judiciales que no fueron abordadas de manera adecuada.<\/p>\n
El letrado asegur\u00f3 que la evidencia reunida permite presumir que los presuntos episodios de violencia podr\u00edan haberse extendido durante meses y advirti\u00f3 que no solo debe investigarse el hecho que termin\u00f3 con la muerte del ni\u00f1o, sino tambi\u00e9n la respuesta que dieron los organismos encargados de protegerlo. \u00abToda esa situaci\u00f3n implica una gravedad no solo en el hecho concreto que tuvo como resultado el crimen, sino tambi\u00e9n en c\u00f3mo se trat\u00f3 anteriormente esa situaci\u00f3n en la que se encontraban los ni\u00f1os\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n
\nEl abogado remarc\u00f3 que la querella cuenta con denuncias y otras actuaciones impulsadas por el padre y los abuelos paternos que, seg\u00fan dijo, advert\u00edan sobre presuntos hechos de violencia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Arancibia tambi\u00e9n cuestion\u00f3 la difusi\u00f3n de un informe judicial que indic\u00f3 que no exist\u00edan registros de violencia de la madre hacia sus hijos y que hac\u00eda referencia a denuncias por agresiones contra el padre de los ni\u00f1os.
