En mayo, la producci\u00f3n de acero crudo alcanz\u00f3 las 399.400 toneladas, lo que representa un aumento del 6,3% en comparaci\u00f3n con abril. Este incremento es a\u00fan m\u00e1s significativo si se considera que se elev\u00f3 un 14% respecto al mismo mes del a\u00f1o anterior, seg\u00fan datos proporcionados por la C\u00e1mara Argentina del Acero. <\/p>\n

Al evaluar los primeros cinco meses del a\u00f1o, la producci\u00f3n mostr\u00f3 un aumento del 10,2% en relaci\u00f3n al mismo per\u00edodo del a\u00f1o anterior. En cambio, la producci\u00f3n de laminados, que incluye tanto productos planos como no planos, fue de 325.900 toneladas, reflejando un crecimiento del 27,6% en comparaci\u00f3n con abril, aunque presenta una ca\u00edda del 1,8% en t\u00e9rminos interanuales. En esta misma comparaci\u00f3n de los primeros cinco meses, la disminuci\u00f3n se sit\u00faa en el 11,4%.<\/p>\n

La situaci\u00f3n var\u00eda entre los distintos sectores. La demanda real de acero contin\u00faa siendo impulsada principalmente por la energ\u00eda, gracias a la actividad en Vaca Muerta, as\u00ed como por el sector agroindustrial. Sin embargo, el panorama es m\u00e1s complicado en otros segmentos. La construcci\u00f3n se mantiene enfocada en obras privadas en fases iniciales, las cuales, por lo general, requieren menos acero. Mientras tanto, la industria automotriz experimenta un crecimiento en las ventas, pero su producci\u00f3n nacional se ve afectada por una mayor proporci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos importados.<\/p>\n

Esta situaci\u00f3n se ve agravada por el aumento de importaciones, en especial provenientes de China, donde las operaciones se realizaban en un contexto de comercio subsidiado. Este fen\u00f3meno ocurre en un entorno en el cual la estructura tributaria de los tres niveles de gobierno desincentiva la creaci\u00f3n de valor agregado local.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con datos del INDEC, en abril, China se posicion\u00f3 como el principal pa\u00eds de origen de las importaciones, representando un 22% del total. Entre los productos m\u00e1s destacados se encuentran la maquinaria y material el\u00e9ctrico (571 millones de d\u00f3lares), productos qu\u00edmicos (187 millones de d\u00f3lares) y autom\u00f3viles y autopartes (184 millones de d\u00f3lares). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
