La Sociedad Argentina de Inmunolog\u00eda (SAI) emiti\u00f3 un comunicado manifestando su \u00abprofunda preocupaci\u00f3n\u00bb ante la realizaci\u00f3n del evento \u00ab\u00bfQu\u00e9 tienen realmente las vacunas?\u00bb en la C\u00e1mara de Diputados, al considerar que la actividad promovi\u00f3 afirmaciones \u00abcarentes de sustento cient\u00edfico\u00bb que ponen en riesgo la salud p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan supo la Agencia Noticias Argentinas, la comunidad cient\u00edfica repudi\u00f3 que el Congreso haya sido la sede de un debate que \u00abdesestima la voz experta\u00bb y degrada el consenso sanitario que ha caracterizado al pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>EL RIESGO DE REEMERGENCIA DE ENFERMEDADES<\/p>\n<p>La SAI alert\u00f3 que la realizaci\u00f3n de este tipo de eventos es un hecho de \u00abextrema gravedad\u00bb debido al contexto sanitario actual:<\/p>\n<p> * Baja Cobertura: Argentina enfrenta un descenso abrupto en las coberturas del Calendario Nacional de Vacunaci\u00f3n, lo que compromete la inmunidad comunitaria.<br \/>\n * Rebrote: Esta situaci\u00f3n favorece la reemergencia de enfermedades previamente controladas, citando casos confirmados este a\u00f1o de sarampi\u00f3n y tos convulsa (coqueluche), adem\u00e1s de la amenaza de poliomielitis.<\/p>\n<p>La sociedad cient\u00edfica sostuvo que las vacunas son una pol\u00edtica de Estado \u2014gratuitas y obligatorias\u2014 y que su \u00e9xito ha contribuido a que el sistema de salud argentino sea reconocido como un ejemplo en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El comunicado finaliza reafirmando un mensaje claro basado en evidencia: \u00abLas vacunas constituyen una herramienta central de la salud p\u00fablica, son seguras, efectivas y esenciales para proteger la vida\u00bb, y condenando las pr\u00e1cticas que buscan polarizar a la opini\u00f3n p\u00fablica de manera da\u00f1ina e innecesaria.<\/p>\n<p>#AgenciaNA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Buenos Aires, 29 noviembre (NA) &#8212;
