Buenos Aires, 8 abril (NA) \u2013 River volver\u00e1 a disputar la Copa Sudamericana luego de 11 a\u00f1os, cuando se enfrente esta noche con Blooming de Bolivia por la primera fecha del Grupo H que tambi\u00e9n comparte con Carabobo de Venezuela y Bragantino de Brasil.<\/p>\n

Los dirigidos por Eduardo \u201cChacho\u201d Coudet, que estar\u00e1n ante la obligaci\u00f3n de llegar hasta las instancias finales en el segundo torneo de clubes m\u00e1s importante de Am\u00e9rica, disputar\u00e1n esta competici\u00f3n por duod\u00e9cima ocasi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

La mejor participaci\u00f3n de River en la Copa Sudamericana se dio en 2014, cuando se qued\u00f3 con el t\u00edtulo luego de derrotar a Atl\u00e9tico Nacional de Colombia en la gran final. Previamente, el \u201cMillonario\u201d super\u00f3 a Boca en una inolvidable semifinal que termin\u00f3 1-0 y donde Marcelo Barovero le ataj\u00f3 un penal clave a Emmanuel Gigliotti.<\/p>\n

Otra de sus actuaciones destacadas se dio en 2003, cuando lleg\u00f3 a la final y cay\u00f3 ante Cienciano de Per\u00fa con un global de 4-3, seg\u00fan se inform\u00f3 la Agencia Noticias Argentinas.<\/p>\n

La \u00faltima vez que el \u201cMillonario\u201d jug\u00f3 la Sudamericana fue en 2015, edici\u00f3n en la que perdi\u00f3 con Hurac\u00e1n. En 2007 tambi\u00e9n fueron eliminados en dicha instancia, aunque en aquella ocasi\u00f3n su verdugo fue Arsenal de Sarand\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Por otra parte, en 2013 se vieron superados por Lan\u00fas, que terminar\u00eda saliendo campe\u00f3n, mientras que en 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 y 2008 alcanzaron los octavos de final y en 2009 su camino finalizar\u00eda en la primera fase.<\/p>\n
